good friends

dear brian,
im glad were good friends.
i knew we would be
when we dont have to make amends
after every thing we say

when you joked about my garlicy breath
after i ate stonefire
but you hugged me anyways
and walked me to my car

i knew we would be
when you played your guitar
and i sang "im yours" and you knew it was something special
because i never sing in front of people

i knew we would be
because when you walk me to my class
you know your's is a school away
but you take crap from mrs. hong anyway

i knew we would be
when we make plans to teach me guitar
and we follow through
because you know it something i've always wanted to learn
but have never had the time

i knew we would be
because you know that i don't need drama in my life right now
and you are the easiest person just to talk and hang out with
